John Galliano MADE Dior. So sad to see it now.. theater in fashion is all but gone… without McQueen, Galliano haute couture, and Thierry Mugler. Sad. If you can, watch Dior haute couture any and all seasons that Galliano was at the helm. ugh.. fashion needs theater. duh runway dummies!!! Why could more designers not have learned from him? So what if it costs more, Haute couture in the big haus’ made a zillion dollars per dress!!

This girl is so beautiful! I am hopeful that she does not get sucked in to the endless vacuum of corporate-fed fame. She is not exactly far from center now, so it could be very easy for her to be fed lots of bullshit to strip her of any of the artistry that is still HERS.  I don’t know if she writes her own songs or not, but if she does I really hope she can always live her own fantasy of how SHE wants her dream to evolve. I wish her all the best, and damn she is easy on my eyes.. And I am a straight female. (that means I fall within the population that spends the most time drooling over her, and longing to be her best friend so I can stare more, right?!)

I am not posting this out of any type of mean girlishness  I just find this to be a photo many girls will feel shows them that celebrities use professional makeup artists and have stylists who MAKE THEIR LOOK.! Here is how she would look on an off day. Her nose needs the makeup to shade the strange shapes, her nose meets her eyes strangely, her teeth are not so white, her skin looks ruddy and pimply. JUST LIKE US ON A BAD DAY. We ALL need makeup to live up to what the U.S. has deemed as attractive!!I see Lana here and feel like she is just like me. Not the girl WE always see and think “Why even try SELF, why even attempt to feel pretty when she looks like this.. guess what…..” BEAUTY IS A LIE” If you look at this for a few mintues you will see…she is gorgeous even without the makeup. Our eyes are tricked to look for PERFECTION because that is what makeup does!
